apprenticeship
An apprenticeship is a type of training where a person gets paid to learn a trade through classroom curriculum and hands-on training from a skilled employer or mentor for a fixed period resulting in an industry recognizable certificate or qualification.
Internship
An internship is a type of training where a student or trainee works in an organization, sometimes without pay, in order to gain work experience or satisfy requirements for a qualification.
Job Shadowing
Job shadowing is a type of exploration that allows an interested person to follow and closely observe an employee performing a particular job or role.
journeyman
A journeyman is a worker, skilled in a given building trade or craft, who has successfully completed an official apprenticeship qualification. Journeymen are considered competent and authorized to work in that field as a fully qualified employee.
