New trade school program reports first-year stats

Four Center for Career Exploration students secured local jobs

In its first full year of operation, including the 2023-24 school year, the Center For Career Exploration, a free trades education program launched by Hailey nonprofit Far + Wise, served at least 120 students.

Sun Valley Resort hired three of those students—for snowmaking, lift operations and grooming positions—after they completed courses, while Limelight Hotel hired one student as a front-desk attendant, Far + Wise Executive Director Laura Rose-Lewis said in an interview with the Express.
